Inspired by the events of 9-11, Jake the Bombed Out Bomb Dog is a children’s book about a lovable dachshund who gets discovered by Officer Johnny. They develop a very special bond during police training. Jake, curious of his new surroundings, escapes from his cage and gets into mischief resulting in a permanent injury teaching a valuable lesson to all. The moral is to give children the understanding that just because you have one limitation doesn't mean you don't have other gifts to offer.
